There’s no denying that the range of $3 kitchen tea towels at Kmart are almost too pretty to use on your wet dishes!
Well now the clever ladies at the fabulous Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group have come up with a genius new way to use the gorgeous tea towels and we couldn’t love it more!
A few of the ladies have been using the cloth to make adorable kids clothes, whipping up skirts and dresses for their little girls - and they’re too cute for words.
Said Kmart Mum Australia follower Paige: ‘Whipped up a skirt for my almost 2 year old this afternoon using one of the tea towels I purchased recently. Could easily have made two from the one tea towel :) Not bad for $3! 💕’
Another mum Marie made an adorable dress - featured in the photo at top - for her little girl using two of the Christmas print tea towels from Kmart.
‘Kmart tea towel hack,’ she wrote. ‘Finished in time for carols tonight!’
And fellow Kmart Mums follower Bec also shared her gorgeous skirt from the festive tea towel range.
‘Christmas tea towel made into a skirt for my little girl🎄,’ she wrote. ‘Next is shorts from the llama tea towel.’
Not surprisingly, the mums’ clever sewing hacks have been a hit with the Kmart Mums followers.
‘So easy and cheap!’ wrote one. Said another: ‘One of my favourite tea towels, I love this!’
Added a third: ‘You would never have guessed that was a tea towel. Good job
