We all have packets of two-minutes noodles in our pantry, right? They’re a great snack for kids, can easily be turned into a quick dinner for the family with some stir-fried veggies and chicken.
But it seems one very clever home cook over at the awesome Kmart Pie Maker Recipes, Tips and Ideas Australia group has come up with an ingenious new way to use the budget pantry staple.
Kmart Pie Maker lover Linda shared her super yummy two-minute noodle pie creation in the $29 gadget to the group, and we couldn’t love it more.
Look how light and crispy they are - and perfect for the kids! And the best part? They’re super budget friendly, costing around $1 for a batch of four!
Revealing her sensation creation to the Kmart Pie Maker Recipes, Tips and Ideas Australia group, Linda writes: ‘Two minute noodle egg cups. Very nice indeed!’
Revealing her technique, Linda writes: ‘One packet of 2 minute noodles in bowl pour boiled water on and set aside. Mix 2 eggs a dash of milk and the seasoning from the noodle pack (mine was Chicken), drain noodle and mix with egg mix. I greased the pie maker and put in for about 8-10 mins.
‘Fill to top to get the crunchy noodle top!’
Genius! Not surprisingly, the clever pie hack was a hit with the group’s other followers.
Wrote one: ‘Love this idea, especially for the kids after school snack!’
Revealed another: ‘Love the fact the noodles on top are crunchy!’ And a third wrote: ‘My extremely fussy kids are chowing down on this right now! They are loving it.
