Radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands took a swipe at ex Today show host Peter Stefanovic on Thursday morning, blaming the presenter for last year’s shock sackings after the infamous ‘Ubergate’ scandal.

Peter joined the Kyle and Jackie O Show hosts in the KIIS FM studio, and during their candid chat, Kyle went in for the kill with his questioning.
“I still to this day think it’s terrible that they wiped out the entire news team at the Today show because of you,” Kyle joked at Peter.
Kyle’s dig was about a conversation between Peter, his brother Karl Stefanovic, and his wife Sylvia Jeffreys, where they were complaining about the show and the network in the back of an Uber went viral.
“Well, you’re probably right,” Peter replied, in reply to Kyle.
Kyle then asked: “You must have copped some s**t? Your brother went, your wife went, you, everyone.”
Co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson added that “even Richard Wilkins went” after he was bumped to Today Extra, then Kyle joked: “He was past his time anyway!”
“Everyone went, it was awful,” said Jackie.
“You should have walked into the Channel Nine car park nude, while everyone lined up, throwing faeces at you, yelling, ‘Shame, shame!'” Kyle continued.
While Peter replied: “Someone likened [the Today sackings] to the Red Wedding from Game of Thrones.
“Don’t worry, I felt all that shame… thanks for that.”
Peter has since landed a job at Sky News on its flagship breakfast program First Edition alongside Laura Jayes, while Sylvia and Karl have yet to return to breakfast television.
Something Kyle was quick to pick up on: “Here you are, you’ve landed on your feet over on Sky News. Not so much for your wife or your brother,” he said, in a further dig.
Peter and Sylvia recently celebrated two years of married life together.
The journalist marked the special occasion with a touching tribute on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the “Hack in a Flak Jacket” shared a selfie of the pair with the caption: “Two years on and I love her more every day. Happy anniversary @sylviajeffreys ❤️”
