500 g beef mince
1 onion, finely diced
45 g packet tinned chicken noodle soup
⅓ cup milk
½ cup plain flour
½ cup self-raising flour
6 burger buns, split
3 tbsp mayonnaise, spread on buns
mixed salad leaves, to serve
6 cheese slices
sliced red onion, to serve
6 eggs, fried
- Combine mince, onion, egg, soup mix, milk and flours in a bowl until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Shape into 6 patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 5-6 min each side or until cooked through. Drain on paper towel.
- Serve patties on buns with salad, cheese, fried eggs and a little sliced red onion if you like. Serve with wedges.
