Gabrielle and Nasser finally called time on their relationship in an emotional episode of Married At First Sight.
During the commitment ceremony on the show, both Nasser Sultan and Gabrielle Bartlett opted to ‘leave’ the marriage after two weeks.
Chatting to The Fix, the single mum reveals she felt like Nasser just appeared on the show for ‘good times’ and ‘paparazzi shots’.
‘I was there for very different reasons,’ she says. ‘Unfortunately, Nasser wasn’t there with his sleeves rolled up. He was there for the good times and maybe the paparazzi shots after this. I don’t know.’
She added that in real-life, she would’ve walked much sooner because he wasn’t she was looking for in a partner.
‘I could see that I was with someone who was not lifting a finger. To be trying so hard when I typically would not have lasted the length of a glass of wine with Nasser on a first date… I would have said, ‘Thank you, but no thank you,’ she said.
The couple have struggled to see eye to eye for much of their relationship, with Nasser admitting he wasn’t attracted to his new wife.
‘I’m in the friend zone, physically and sexually,’ he told the relationship experts.
‘I mean, I respect Gabby but just that part of it…it’s just, I’m stuck. At the moment, I have no sexual connection.’
