216g packet Mars Bars (12 bars)
275g packet gow gee pastry (30 wrappers)
1 cup vegetable oil
Icing sugar mixture, to decorate
You will need 10 chocolate bars, reserve remaining two for another use. Cut each bar into three even pieces. Place one piece in the centre of each wrapper. Brush around edge with a little water.
Bring two sides up to meet in the middle. Pinch together to seal and enclose chocolate bar. Place on a tray lined with baking paper.
Heat oil in a large, deep, non-stick frying pan over a medium to high heat until hot. Add gyoza in three batches, allowing oil to reheat in between each batch.
Cook, turning regularly for about 4 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper.
Serve warm gyoza dusted with sifted icing sugar.
