She suggests to make a parfait, which she says is quite simple, as you just make a custard, and then whip up some cream on the side.
"Then you just combine that together," she explains.
The next thing to so is simply freeze it, then pop it in a silicone mould and you'll be left with a perfectly shaped dome.
"Go decorate it with some fruit, with some mint and with some basil leaves and there you go, something really extravagant but easy to make," she says.
And that's not only kitchen tip she has up her sleeve, as Therese reveals something she did in her audition can actually be done at home, and that is picking basil leaves off its stem using a grater.
"So basically just getting a basil stem and actually pushing it through one of the grater holes, so by pushing it you’re actually cutting the leaves off its stem," she says.
"It will shave a lot of time in preparation."
While on the show, Therese dished up multiple desserts, including her near perfect apple dish, but there a few others that she didn't get a chance to make in the competition.
But she hopes to open a cake shop in the near future where she will be having small desserts and also big custom/bespoke celebration cakes.
"I’m planning to definitely get some commercial work experience to expand my repertoire with that and once I get that to open my little cake studio," she says.
