McDonald’s has extended their summer menu with several new and never-before-seen delicious additions.
Amongst the juicy new items are sweet and savoury pineapple fritters and a pineapple sundae that brings together creamy vanilla soft serve with fruity pineapple sauce and fresh pineapple chunks – delicious to say the least.

Marketing Director at McDonald’s Australia Samantha McLeod said the pineapple products were a “new and exciting take” on the tropical fruit.
“Whether you prefer your pineapple served warm or cold, we’re giving our Macca’s fans both this summer to put them to the taste test – we can’t wait to hear what our customers think.”

Joining the fritters and sundae is also the new McCrispy Bacon Deluxe, a mouthwatering twist on the McCrispy Burger, and Aussie Angus Deluxe that the fast food giant has described as “the ultimate summer burger.”
“With an exciting new pineapple snack and dessert, as well as the latest burger spin and the return of an Aussie favourite, Macca’s is bringing the heat this summer with a menu that promises to deliver great taste and great quality, because nothing goes together better than Macca’s and the Aussie summer,” Samantha McLeod added.
When the summer menu first launched on November 29, the McRib, Chicken Big Mac, and even onion rings were brought back for a limited time only. Before that, it had been three years since the McRib had last been available to purchase.
The McRib, a “juicy, boneless pork patty dipped in sweet, tangy and smoky BBQ McRib sauce, topped with pickles and slivered onions – sandwiched between two toasted homestyle buns,” has been one of the most requested Macca’s product ever and fans were so happy to have it back!
Because they know how much we love this product, McDonald’s also welcomed a brand-new McRib Deluxe…
The deluxe has a fresh take on the original sandwich we know, with the tasty addition of lettuce, cheese, tomato, and McChicken sauce.
The new summer menu also includes a Tim Tam McFlurry, now with Chocolate Soft Serve, as well as a new Frozen Coke Y3000.
With this new drink, Aussie’s are being given a “taste of the future” with “the new Coca-Cola flavour from the Year 3000. Co-created with AI.”
