The Duchess of Sussex is “desperate to deliver her baby using hypnobirthing methods”, the National Enquirer reports.
The 37-year-old mum-to-be has been taking classes in the popular technique at the yoga centre she visits in London – and Prince Harry has been attending also, the US tabloid reports.
“Meghan is fixated on making the birth as natural as possible,” a palace insider told the publication.
However, the Duchess of Sussex has been warned her birthing plan may be overruled by royal protocol.
A palace insider told National Enquirer, “If something went wrong, they would want Meghan surrounded by the top doctors, and the whole hypnobirthing idea doesn’t really sit well with that.”
“But Meghan is determined to do things her way,” adds the source. “She is adamant that this is the birth plan she will follow.
The National Enquirer adds that once Meghan gives birth – believed to be in April next year – she wants to make the move to Kensington Palace with her mum Doria Ragland.
While Harry is supportive of the idea, the royal family would rather they make a life of their own – without her mother tagging along.”
“It’s putting Harry in an awkward position. It’s not the way things are done in the royal household.”
