Meghan Markle has taken the term ‘working royal’ to another level, and added yet another string to her bow of achievements.

The Duchess is partnering with British retail giants Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, the brand Jigsaw, and her close friend Misha Nonoo to design a clothing collection that is guaranteed to be a sell out.

The one-off collection will launch later this year, and is set to benefit Smart Works, a UK charity that helps unemployed and vulnerable women back into the workplace.

It was announced by Meghan herself in her takeover of British Vogue‘s September issue, according to Hello!

“For each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to charity,” Meghan revealed.

Meghan has been a longtime fan of British high street stores.

Back in 2018, Meghan caused a rush to M&S stores when she wore a pretty bell sleeve navy jumper by the brand.

Then later that same year she wore the M&S Double Crepe Bodycon Dress for an event at the Royal Albert Hall.

With a price tag of just £49.50 ($90), it unsurprisingly sold out in nearly every size, according to Hello!

The Duchess of Sussex is the first person to guest edit British Vogue‘s September issue in 103 years, so her editorship wasn’t an honour to be taken lightly.

She announced her collaboration on Monday on the Sussex Royal Instagram account, and shared the cover image, which features 15 women, including teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, and is emblazoned with the slogan ‘Forces for CHANGE’.

With a new baby at home, and multiple collaborations in the pipeline, there’s no doubt Meghan is changing the face – and perhaps the perception – of the British royal family.
