Meghan Markle shared her mantra for dealing with conflict in old blog post

In a very telling post.

Since entering the royal family earlier this year, Meghan Markle has been embroiled in several feuds with her own family. And, it turns out the Duchess of Sussex has a long-held mantra when it comes to dealing with conflict, which is possibly why she’s handled herself so well in every situation.

On her since-deleted personal blog, The Tig, Meghan shared a motivational quote by Portuguese author Jose Micard Teixeira about letting go of toxic relationships and learning to put yourself first.

The post was published by the duchess in 2014 and recently unearthed by Instagram user harry_meghan_updates

‘I have no patience for cynicism, excessive criticism and demand of any nature,’ the post partly reads.

‘I lost the will to please those who do not like me, to love those who do not love me, and to smile at those who do not smile at me.

‘I no longer spend a single minute in those who lie or want to manipulate.’

The telling words are strikingly relevant for Meghan’s current situation – as she battles a bitter feud against her father, Thomas Markle, and half-sister Samantha Markle.

Meghan has reportedly not spoken to her father since just after her wedding to Prince Harry on May 19, and has vowed not to speak to him until he makes contact in a ‘respectful manner.’

However, Mr Markle continues to give several media interviews detailing very private details of conversations he has shared with Prince Harry and Meghan.

Meghan’s half-sister also hasn’t held back from commenting on her Meghan’s new life — despite previously admitting they hadn’t spoken in more than a decade.
