There’s no doubt Meghan Markle is one stylish duchess, and now she can add ‘Best Dressed’ to her list of accomplished. The Duchess of Sussex has been awarded the title of Best Dressed by both PEOPLE and Vanity Fair.
PEOPLE notes that the ‘Markle effect is real’, with everything Meghan wears ‘turning to sold’.
‘Her clothes are beautifully cut. There’s nothing bold or brash or too extreme. They are really just beautiful clothes on a beautiful woman,’ says Hilary Alexander, former fashion director of The Telegraph.
The US publication adds that Meghan’s style is so influential thanks to its incredibly ‘relatable’ nature.
The 37-year-old former actress was also named on Vanity Fair’s prestigious list, being praised for her ‘sleek’, ‘high-fashion look’, with the magazine noting she’s the ‘most daring of the royal fashion pack’.
As Meghan and Prince Harry prepare to embark on their tour of Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand in October, royals watchers are already speculating what she will wear next — and brands are getting prepared.
