Michael Hutchence’s daughter Tiger Lily in shock romance with rock royalty

Romance has blossomed from shared tragedies.

She’s the daughter of the late Michael Hutchence, and it seems Tiger Lily is ready to face the spotlight as she shocks friends with her new romance.

In a New Idea exclusive, the once shy 21-year-old has split from long-term boyfriend Charlie Creseatian and is reportedly getting cosy with the son of Australian musician Nick Cave, Earl, whose twin brother died in mysterious circumstances.

Tiger and her ex Charlie had been dating since 2014, but were rarely pictured together, preferring to shun the spotlight.

However, pals close to the young couple say they quietly split up earlier this year, with neither of them now following the other on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Meanwhile, Tiger – who is now going by the name Tiger Hutchence-Geldof – has moved on to a new set of friends and has been hanging around with Earl Cave, son of Nick, who fronts the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

And in a further twist, Nick – who was a long-time friend of Michael’s and sang at his funeral – is reportedly Tiger Lily’s godfather.

In fact, Tiger has been referred to as the ‘God Sista’ by Earl, 17, who is now rising to fame in the TV show Born To Kill, after starring as Frodo in the Netflix series The End Of The F***ing World.

‘Earl would be the perfect shoulder to cry on for dealing with tragedies, as he’s also had to face death in the family at a very young age, just like Tiger,’ spills a source close to Tiger.

Earl’s brother Arthur fell to his death from a cliff at the age of 15, after taking LSD for the first time in July 2015. The tragic accident happened in Brighton, East Sussex, UK, where the Cave family live, and was judged to be accidental by a coroner.

Tiger faced tragedy at a very young age when her father Michael, the frontman of internationally successful rock band INXS, was found dead in a Sydney hotel room on November 22, 1997. The coroner ruled he died having hanged himself.

However, Tiger’s mother Paula Yates – who herself died after a drug overdose in 2000 – claimed Hutchence may have been strangled playing a solo sex game.

In a further tragic twist, Tiger’s half sister Peaches also died following a drug overdose in 2014.

However, despite the large list of tragic events in her past, Tiger has remained resolutely down-to-earth.

‘Tiger is no fool. She’s witnessed an awful lot. She knows what happened to her mother, seen what happened to her sister. It’s not a life she wants,’ says a source.

‘She is very grounded and has been told to keep away from drugs.’

So could Tiger’s new friendship with Earl be a belated act of rebellion?

If there’s any doubts about Tiger’s relationship status, friends of the fledgling photographer say that she’s been noticeably absent at all of Charlie’s events as the fundraising manager for Raise 4, a charity that helps refugees around the globe.

‘She hasn’t attended the last two parties he’s organised in Stoke Newington and Peckham, London. The last time they were pictured together was at a Raise 4 event in July 2017, where they were dressed like hippies after travelling together through India the year before,’ states the source.

Instead, the petite brunette is focusing solely on her photography – most recently working alongside celebrity snapper Rankin on his online fashion magazine Hunger.

And in a clear bid to make her mark, Tiger also did some nude modelling for her fashion photographer friend Kate Bellm.

The pair have known each other for years after their families spent many summers together in Majorca – and Tiger has even posed for beach and underwater shots with other naked females on the Balearic islands in the Mediterranean.

‘She’s chosen her professional name to be Tiger Hutchence- Geldof in a clear sign of loyalty to stepdad Bob, a move that is sure to disappoint her Australian relatives, who’ve never got on with the Irish pop star,’ notes the insider.
