Simple yet tasty, these will impress fussy eaters
50g butter, slightly softened
8 slices large white sandwich bread
½ cup mild chunky tomato salsa
8 slices Tasty cheese
300g can baked beans in tomato sauce
¼ cup drained sliced pickled jalapenos
1 avocado, sliced
Spread half the butter evenly over half the bread slices. Turn over, butter-side down. Spread with salsa.
Place a slice of cheese over the salsa on each one. Spread evenly with baked beans, jalapenos and avocado. Top with remaining cheese.
Spread remaining butter over remaining bread slices. Place, butter-side up, over cheese.
In two batches, place sandwiches in a heated jaffle maker. Close lid. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Cut diagonally in half to serve
