‘But also just struggling to have a healthier lifestyle outside of tennis, not training for six or seven hours a day. And it was definitely a struggle.’
Now Jelena says she’s dropped 20kg thanks to Jenny Craig, describing the eating program as life-changing.
‘Yeah, it’s been really exciting - I’ve lost about 20kg which has been great and I haven’t been this weight where I am now for a long time so it’s very exciting and something that’s been a life changer,’ she told TMS.
‘It’s [thanks to] Jenny Craig, which I actually started last year. I tried it out in October and Jenny Craig and I got together and had a few conversations and I went on a trial period to try out their food and their program, which I’d been interested in for a while.
‘And I just went from there, I wanted to see what it was about, I’ve never done anything like that before. And it was exciting.
‘I was very surprised at how delicious the food was, how convenient it was and I had a lot of different menu items that I could choose from and it wasn’t jeopardising my weight loss.’
