An Aussie mum has come up with an amazing parenting hack using a very unlikely Kmart product - and it’s taking Australia by storm!
Cheralee came up with the ingenious idea of using the $32 Kmart Foldable Pet Play Pen Extra Large - clean of course! - as a perfect area for her baby daughter to play while she was outside doing jobs.
Sharing a photo of her gorgeous little girl enjoying her new play space on the fabulous Kmart Decor & Hacks Facebook group, Cheralee writes: ‘I know it supposed to be for pets, it's brand new and she enjoying playing outside while I hang the washing out.’
But while she may have been nervous about receiving some criticism about her idea, Cheralee needn’t have worried with her post receiving more than 10,000 likes and thousands of positive comments from the Facebook group’s other followers. Woah!

‘I think this is an awesome idea and it shows you’re a wonderful mumma, baby is safe and sound whilst enjoying fresh air within boundaries ... love it!!!’ wrote one fan. Said another: ‘Where was this when my son was a baby!! Love this...great hack!’
Said a third: ‘Yes yes yes! We bought this for our kitten but I also have a baby too and I thought this as well. It’s an awesome idea. And so cheap. You can also use it as a ball pit.’
Others pointed out that it was great to use while camping.
‘Great idea! This would have been so good when we camped when my little man was a bub,’ said one. Added another: ‘This would make a good play pen for the boys while camping.’ Said a third: ‘This is so great! We will be getting one for our caravan!’
