No Bowl Snickers Slice

Love Snickers? Well, you're going to LOVE this no-mess, no-fuss super-yum slice!

Ingredients

250g packet Butternut Snap Cookies

75g unsalted butter, melted

½ cup Dark Choc Bits

1 cup shredded coconut

½ cup roasted unsalted peanuts

216g packet Snickers Funsize share pack, coarsely chopped

395g can sweetened condensed milk

Method

  1. Grease an 18cm x 28cm rectangular slice pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above pan edges.

  2. Process cookies in a food processor until finely crushed. 

  3. Pour butter over base of prepared pan to cover. Sprinkle with cookie crumbs, pressing gently with fingertips to form an even layer. 

  4. Sprinkle over dark chocolate, coconut, peanuts and Snickers. Pour over condensed milk. 

  5. Cook in a moderately slow oven (160C) for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Refrigerate for 2 hours, or until firm.

  6. Use paper to lift slice from pan. Cut into bars.

     

    TIP! Slice can be made up to one week ahead. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Try replacing Snickers with Mars Bar or Picnic bars.
