Jade used Kmart’s $6 ‘60cm Plant Stand’ for the hack, which puts the water and food bowls at the perfect height for the parched roos!
Revealing that they feed the wild roos kangaroo pellets from a local fodder store, Jade says she was inspired to set up the feeding station for a very compassionate reason.
She adds: ‘They live in the scrub behind us but it hasn't rained in about 4 months and we noticed many of them getting hit by cars in search for food and water so thought this might help.’
Not surprisingly, Jade has been given a big round of applause by the other Kmart Mums.
Said one: ‘Awww that’s so fantastic. Thanks for caring enough. Best hack I’ve seen.’
Added another: ‘Absolutely awesome. So lovely to see people caring and providing for them. I just love it❤️’
In response, Jade wrote: ‘Thanks for all the positive comments guys :)
‘We have a number of them come each night now and if they get here to late and food is gone they now come right up on our deck as if asking for more lol!’
