An investigation has been launched by the Victorian Police and Woolworths after a nail was found in a frozen dinner.
Shopper Jackie Partridge claims her husband found a nail in a Marathon spring roll, which had been purchased from Woolworths.
Photos shown on Seven News show the long sharp object clearly protruding from the half-eaten spring roll, disturbing to anyone.
‘When I came back home and saw it I thought, “Oh my God that’s serious,”’ said Jackie, who lives in Wodonga, northeast of Melbourne.
‘It did scare me.’
While her husband didn’t suffer any serious injuries from biting into the nail-embedded spring roll, the couple still reported it to police.
Jackie says her husband found this nail in his spring roll, purchased from Woolworths.
