Restaurant hospitality workers are today reading at the news that they have a "50/50" chance at losing their jobs.
The well known and celebrity hot-spot 'Crinitis' has today announced they were appointing administrators.
Crinitis restaurant group own and operate 13 stores across NSW, VIC, QLD and WA.
On Monday the Directors of Crinitis restaurant group appointed Worrells Solvency and forensic accountants.
"Crinitis is a well-known, well-linked chain, but like all hospitality businesses carries high overheads and is susceptible to any weakening in retail spending," said Graeme Beattie, Worrells partner.
The Crinitis group has confirmed that some locations "do better than others" and that their first priority will be to close "poorer performers", of which there are expected to be several.
Staff across the chain's 13 stores were told of the news this morning.
"These will be difficult, regrettable but necessary decisions", said Beattie.
The administrators have also been appointed to decide what happens to gift certificates already purchased.
