Prince Harry is still haunted over the death of his mother Princess Diana.
A royal expert says Diana’s tragic death in a car accident in 1997 is behind the Duke of Sussex desire to lead a private life with wife Meghan Markle and son, Archie.

Richard Fitzwilliams told talkRADIO, : “If we look back, and looking back quite a while at the whole period when they were going out together, with the engagement, there was, of course, Harry’s attack on the media.
“I think looking at it in the context of the time, I can’t speak precisely about what was happening abroad but certainly the way journalists were behaving. But the fact of the matter was that it was unique.
“There is no doubt, of course, that again, what happened to his mother haunts him, and is behind a lot.
“The actually sentiments expressed do appear to be reflected in the way they are currently behaving.”
He added: “But, on the other hand, we do have charming photographs at the polo and at Wimbledon, so do let balance delight and dole.”
Harry has made numerous efforts to protect the Duchess of Sussex.
The prince released a statement when the pair first started dating, asking the press to back off.
The press release read: “His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment.
“Some of this has been very public – the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments.”
“Prince Harry is worried about Ms Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her.
“It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms Markle should be subjected to such a storm.”
A royal insider recently revealed that the former Suits actress is ‘struggling’ with the intense public scrutiny.
Since marrying Prince Harry and joining the royal family, Meghan is reportedly finding the scrutiny so extreme it’s at a ‘whole different level’ than what she received as a famous actress.
A royal insider told People: “Meghan has struggled with the intensity of the spotlight.
“Although she is a former actress, this is on a different level.”
This is not the only report to surface in recent weeks that claims Meghan Markle is really battling with her new life in the royal spotlight.
