Queen Elizabeth II was targeted by assassins, GLOBE has outrageously reported.
The sensational report reveals Her Majesty was ‘flooded with hate mail’ at Buckingham Palace.
Shockingly, sources tell GLOBE the alleged assassins breached the monarch’s security, and there was a very close call!
‘Only quick and decisive action by Her Majesty’s guards kept the Queen safe,’ a British intelligence official tells GLOBE.
‘A heavily armed assault team was captured near Elizabeth’s home in Sandringham. But, now the threat has been hushed.’
GLOBE claims these assassins are now confined in the ‘ultra-secure’ Wakefield Prison.
‘They came very close,’ one insider explosively reveals.
‘These threats are no joke,’ adds another source to GLOBE.
Earlier this year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were at the centre of a security scare.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told PEOPLE at the time,‘Police are investigating after a package containing a substance was delivered to St. James’s Palace on Monday, February 12.’
The package, which was addressed to both Harry and Meghan, was intercepted and sent to St. James’s Palace for sorting and the ‘substance was tested and confined as non-suspicious,’ the spokesperson confirmed.
They added, ‘Officers are also investigating an allegation of malicious communications which relates to the same package.’
The Evening Standard, who first reported the story, allege that a racist message was included in the envelope.
