Woolworths
All Woolies in the NT, ACT and Tasmania will be open as usual, however some SA locations closed for the public holiday.
All Woolworths stores in NSW will be open on the Queen’s Birthday public holiday with revised trading hours. The only exceptions will be the Sydney Metcentre and 333 George Street stores, which will both be closed.
In Victoria, all stores will be open - except for the Bourke Street and Collins Square locations.
Aldi
Good news for Aldi lovers, with most stores being open over the Queen’s Birthday public holiday. Sydney’s Leichhardt store will be closed, however, as will some northern NSW locations.
The majority of Aldi stores in SA will be closed, except for the Berri, Kadina, Mt Barker, Murray Bridge, Nuriootpa, Port Pirie and Victor Harbor locations.
In any case, Aldi encourages shoppers to visit their website to confirm store trading hours.
Bottle shops
All bottle shops - Dan Murphy’s, First Choice, BWS, Liquorland and more - are expected to be open on the Queen’s Birthday, some with restricted trading hours. Check your local bottle shop’s website for details.
Shopping centres
Most Westfield shopping centres will be open with revised trading hours for some NSW, ACT and Victoria locations, however Marion and Tea Tree Plaza will be closed.
David Jones stores in all states will be open - the only exceptions are Barangaroo, Marion, West Lakes and Botanica Food.
Myer will also be open for customers in every state. However, Launceston store in Tasmania and SA’s Marion and Tea Tree Plaza stores will be closed.
