Shocking name stereotypes from 1986 baby book will stun you

Seriously ridiculous.

A list of name stereotypes from 1986 has made it’s way online, and it’s sure to stun you.

The book claims that Christopher Anderson worked with ‘researchers’ to construct the list of ‘unusual names’ – although, that is very different to now.

Some names are fairly kind descriptions, but other verge on downright insulting.

Stacey, for example, is considered to be ‘brisk but sexless’, while Benjamin is described as purely ‘dishonest.’

Nicole gets a shocking ‘average on all counts’, while Barbara’s are believed to be ‘forceful, successful, fat but sexy.’

Is your name on the list? Head to our Facebook page to let us know your description!
