Speaking to New Idea Food, a Coles spokesperson said they are investigating the complaint.
‘Coles takes the quality of all our products seriously and has contacted the customer to follow up their complaint,’ the spokesperson said.
‘As always we encourage customers to return any item they’re not 100% happy with to their nearest store for a full refund or replacement.’
The incident comes just months after a Woolworths customer found a piece of metal in her yoghurt. And just recently, a batch of Woolworths Chicken Kievs were recalled by authorities due to the presence of broken plastic in the meat.
