600 g lamb mince
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp garam masala
4 hamburger buns, cut in half and toasted
¾ cup rocket or spinach leaves
1 small Lebanese cucumber thinly sliced
1 red onion thinly sliced
⅓ cup crumbled feta
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tsp crushed chillies
- Combine mince, garlic and spices in a bowl. Season with pepper and mix until just combined. Divide mixture into four portions and shape into patties slightly larger than your hamburger buns.
- Heat a grill or frying pan over medium heat and spray with oil. Cook patties for 4-5 min each side or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and rest for 2-3 min.
- Combine mayonnaise and chilli in a bowl.
- Spread 2 teaspoons of Chilli Mayonnaise on each side of the toasted buns. Top bun bottoms with some rocket, then cucumber slices, red onion and cooked lamb patty. Top with a little feta and some extra Chilli Mayonnaise. Sandwich together with bun tops and serve.
