1.5kg chicken wings
Garlic salt, to taste
5 green spring onions, cut into 5cm lengths
1 large red capsicum, cut into 4cm pieces
Extra sliced green spring onions, to garnish
1/3 cup char siu sauce
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons chilli garlic sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
To make sauce, combine all ingredients with 2 tablespoons water in a small jug. Mix well.
Place chicken in a single layer in an oiled, large roasting pan. Season with garlic salt.
Cook in a hot oven (200C) for 20 minutes. Remove pan from oven. Add onions and capsicum. Toss to combine. Return to oven. Cook for a further 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
Pour over sauce. Toss well to coat chicken. Return to oven. Cook, tossing halfway through, for a further 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked and sauce is golden and sticky. Remove.
Garnish with extra green spring onions.
