Amid rumours Sylvia Jeffries is expecting her first child, the former Today host stepped out in a long flowing dress on Thursday night.
Sharing the image to her Instagram account, the wife of Peter Stefanovic wrote: ‘Heading out for dinner and a movie on a school night and ya can’t stop me.’
Sylvia left the Today show last month and has been enjoying her time off since with news of a baby surfacing in the past few weeks.
According to a Nine insider, Pete, 37, and Sylvia, 32, did not want their special news to take the focus away from Karl and Jasmine’s wedding in Mexico but now back on home soil the lovebirds couldn’t be more excited.
“It’s a dream come true for both of them,” says a friend.
“It’s just what they need after the year from hell and they’re not letting anything overshadow this moment.”
Having already discussed favourite names, Sylvia is hoping their bundle of joy will bring a new focus for her husband.
