Sylvia Jeffreys is in no hurry to be a mum.
Sitting down with KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O this morning, the Channel Nine newsreader revealed that she has ‘no plans’ when it comes to falling pregnant, saying: ‘It’s all in the hands of someone.’

“What’s your thoughts on a child? Is everyone trying to push you now that you’re married?” probes co-host Kyle Sandilands.
“Oh that’s been happening from probably the first day of our honeymoon I think?” Sylvia coyly replies.
Getting straight to the point, Kyle then says: “You got plans or no plans?”
Brushing off the line of questioning, Sylvia replies: “Oh well you can’t really plan these things, can you? It happens when it happens. ”
When talk turned to co-host Jackie planning her own pregnancy via IVF, Sylvia began to get defensive: “But even then you still don’t know exactly when it’s going to happen. It’s all in the hands of someone.”
While the former Today newsreader made it clear babies are not on her radar, the blonde beauty informed the KIIS FM hosts that it isn’t from a lack of passion.
“A lot of people are saying you and Pete won’t be able to get pregnant because you’re working at different ends of the day,” Kyle jokes.
“Well I can assure you we see each other enough,” Sylvia responds with a laugh.
Two months ago, Sylvia Jeffreys sparked pregnancy speculation on the red carpet of the 2019 Logie Awards with her interesting choice of outfit.
While attending Australia’s biggest night in TV, Sylvia raised more than a few eyebrows by wearing a loose-fitting black and white gown.
With on-lookers guessing as to why Sylvia would choose such a billowing dress to wear to TV’s night of nights, the veteran morning show host smiled and waved at the crowd as she happily flew solo in the Gold Coast.
Sylvia Jeffreys married Peter Stefanovic in an intimate ceremony in New South Wales’ Kangaroo Valley in 2017.
