When Kmart launched their ingenious Pet Couch Topper earlier this year, it quickly became a cult item for dog and cat lovers everywhere.
Well now Aldi has hit back with their own rival product - and it gives Kmart’s version a serious run for its money.
Available in Saturday’s Special Buys, Aldi’s Pet Couch Cover Protector goes a step further than Kmart’s version by coming in three different sizes - 1 seater, 2 seater and 3 seater - and two different colours. It’s also designed to fit securely to your couch so it won’t slip off - unlike Kmart’s version - and wraps around the back and sides of your couch.
And the price? Just $24.95.
Aldi says the product ‘can be put on and removed in seconds’ and will ‘guard your furniture against food and drink spills, muddy paws and pet hairs.’
It is also machine washable and features ‘effortless fitting, designed to protect the couch backs, seats and arms.’
Available in grey and brown, it’s available in Aldi’s Special Buys for Saturday, May 11. Run don’t walk!
