It simply involved taking an average bottle of champagne, sparkling wine or prosecco and using a brush to paint it from the neck down with glue. Then you just roll it in glitter - it’s as simple as that!
You can just go for a a basic glitter look - with the one shade of glitter over the whole bottle. Or for something fancy, you can do an ombre effect and use a range of colours.
D. I. Wine’s Alyssa says: ‘This isn't a new idea by any means, but it's perfect for New Year's Eve and we'd both never done it before, so we had to try.
‘As we often do, Danielle and I took different approaches with this craft. She covered her bottle in a base coat of silver glitter, then added a layer of colorful glitter on top. Meanwhile, I tried my hand at an ombré style using gold and purple glitter.’
Don’t they just look amazing! And the best part? You can use budget champagne and no-one will even know!
