90s nostalgia is in full swing, with a reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch in the works, rumours of a Spice Girls reunion, and now we Just Want You To Know that the boy band that probably featured on posters all over your wall, the Backstreet Boys, are back in the spotlight!
Everybody (Backstreet’s back!) – and they have announced their intention to create a tequila brand. It’s not a bad idea, given that Justin Timberlake (of rival boyband NSYNC) launched a tequila brand last year, and Ryan Reynolds is now at the helm of Aviation Gin.
During an interview with Tasting Table, the group said that he only thing standing in their way is that they need a partner.
Legally, tequila is highly regulated, and must be manufactured in Mexico. Therefore, any celebrity endorsements will directly benefit the country’s economy. Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) – someone help them develop, produce and distribute!
