Following last night’s nail biting auctions, The Block’s resident “battlers” Norm Hogan and Jess Eva have responded to baby rumours in the only way they know how.
In an Instagram post, the 33-year-old breakfast host showed off her stomach while posing with Norm, 40, and their 18-month-old daughter Matilda.
The couple clarified in the caption that they are not expecting a baby, despite a recent report claiming otherwise, adding that Jess simply “loves a pie”.
Jess wrote, “ANNOUNCEMENT! We’ve had so many people ask us if we are pregnant and we just wanted to let you all know…secrets out…I bloody love a pie…and there’s nothing but pies and burgers in this baby maker.
“Norm couldn’t be prouder and the kids are stoked. Mum and pies doing fine.”
The couple are already parents to Matilda and a four-year-old son, Freddy.
During the show’s premiere episode, Norm and Jess revealed they were “too broke” to expand their brood.
“Right now we’re too broke to get married,” Jess told 9Now. “And we want to have another baby, but financially it’s just not possible.”
“So if we do well, we’ll have another one, and we’ve already promised that if it’s a boy we’ll name him Scotty.”
