The one food The Queen and Phillip REFUSE to eat!

No aphrodisiac needed.

There is one dish that Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Phillip both refuse to eat – and it might surprise you!

If you plan on have Lizzie and Phil over for dinner anytime soon, a word of caution – don’t even think about serving oysters for entree!

According to a palace insider, the Queen and Phillip despise the slimy water mollusc!

“Inevitably there are one or two things the Queen and her husband do not like, and the hosts are duly warned in advance,” reads an extract from Dinner at Buckingham Palace, compiled by Paul Fishman and Fiorella Busoni.

“The palace instruction states only: ‘Neither the Queen nor the Duke of Edinburgh like oysters.'”

Fishman and Busoni’s book is based on “personal recollections” of former royal servant, Charles Oliver, and reveals a lot more about Elizabeth and Phil the Greek’s food habits.

According to the book, the Royal couple also enjoy a tipple or two daily.

The extract explains how, “The Queen often drinks a glass of red or white wine with her meals as well as orange juice. His Royal Highness prefers gin and tonic or lager to champagne before meals or during the day.”

And just so the host knows, “For more informal meals the palace advice is: ‘The Queen and Prince Philip like to sit opposite each other across the table.'”

Time to polish the silver!
