After all, just a few months ago Woolworths announced a similar sale - giving shoppers exactly the same deal on all freezer items.
And while the sign has only been advertised in the Maryborough store, other shoppers who claim to work at Woolworths locations around the country claim the sale extends to all stores.
Says one Markdown Addicts follower: ‘All stores ! Excludes price dropped and low price always items. Another added: ‘It’s all stores on the 14th March ... I work at Woolies in Canberra and its on next Wednesday.’
Said another Woolies worker: ‘Lady I work with said she got an email from Woolies stating it is.’
While Woolies are yet to confirm or deny the flash half price freezer sale, shoppers are suggesting that others talk to their local Woolworths stores to see if they’ll be honouring the deal.
Said another: ‘Worth checking online for your local store though.’
