EARLIER: Just days after the monster Woolies freezer sale, Coles have come to the party by slashing the prices on a a huge range of their frozen items.
The store’s range of Bird’s Eye frozen chips - including their gourmet ‘Deli’ varieties - have been reduced to just 98 CENTS, reduced from $4 and more! They’ve also seriously marked down their ranges of Pommies and frozen potato and cauliflower bakes to $2 - woah!
One savvy shopper at the fabulous Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook group spotted the huge reductions, leading hundreds of other bargain hunters to head into Coles to snap up the Bird’s Eye goodies.
And while some noted that not all stores are displaying the 75% off markdown - they are scanning through at 98 cents and sometimes 94 cents at the checkout.
Now shoppers around the country are posting photos of their frozen fries mega hauls on the popular Facebook group - with one revealing that she snapped up 15 packets!
Said one shopper: ‘Thank you so much to original poster. We love these but can never afford them. Coles Yarrabilba, Queensland. 98c I did leave some!’
Added another: ‘Yassss! Local Coles had some stock left (think some of you beat me haha). But my family’s fav of sea salt and rosemary was there. 10 packets now destined for my freezer!’
Said a third: ‘Yes thanks to the poster ... I ran up to get these after work at Coles Northcote and managed to magically fit them in to the freezer after last week’s Woolies Freezer sale! $5.... bargain!!!!’
Added one more: ‘Yes thank you so much to whoever posted this. We’ve stocked up between 3 households.’
