Posting pics of her chicken bargains, Nichola reveals: ‘I got 12 size 22 chickens .... 60 marinated kebabs .... 6 split whole marinated chickens ... 6 kg breast nuggets .... 6 kg coated wing dings things ... 15 kg chicken wings and 6 rolled and stuffed turkey roasts all for $204 ....
She adds: ‘You have to buy in cartons and only 5 cartons per person per day and EFT only.’
Fellow Markdown Addicts Australia member Cola revealed that she too picked up some amazing bargains at the store.
She reveals: ‘I jumped on the Ingham factory outlet bandwagon this morning & got all this for $200.
‘Half turkey breast (will slice & freeze for sandwiches), 6 x size 22 whole chooks. 9 x packets of lemon pepper breast fillets (approx 600g ea). 60 x chicken kebabs, 1.5kg x chicken wings, 5 x packets thigh fillets (approx 1.5-1.6kg ea). 12 x packets breast fillets (approx 800g ea), 1 x box lovely legs (I think this is about 10-12kg 🤷🏻♀️), 5 x packets frozen wings (approx 1kg ea).
‘Will definitely be back once we work our way through this lot!’
Cola added that the chooks were ‘fresh out of the factory, so nowhere near use by. It’s just a factory outlet & it’s not all in the pretty packaging so I guess that’s got something to do with it.’
Many Markdown Addicts Australia shoppers were blown away by the haul, desperate to visit the store - and ones similar around the country - themselves.
As for finding such stores, one member suggested googling ‘Factory Food Outlets’, with others revealing that Steggles also have chicken outlet stores and that there are similar places in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.
