She wrote: ‘Hey mummas. Want a delicious, easy vanilla slice? I usually don’t do it like this but this is easy ... I used the lattice biscuits instead of pastry which is easier but next time I will try pastry.

That it is! So how did Anne Marie do it? Using lattice biscuits and the Cottee’s Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix, it was simply a case of lining a slice tin with one layer of lattice biscuits and topping it with the prepared vanilla mix and then topping it with another layer of bikkies!
Done! Not only did it get the BIG thumbs up from the other Mums Who Cook & Bake members, it also brought back lots of childhood memories.
‘This is how [my] mum’s always made vanilla slice, so yummy but super easy,’ said one. Replied another: ‘My mum used to make it the same way!’ Said one more: ‘Both my nan and my mum made it like this!! So so yummy!’
