One Aussie mum has taken the great Aussie bikkie to the next level by pulling off this EPIC Iced VoCo Cake - using COLES pre-made $5 sponge cakes!

This Aussie mum’s ICED VOVO $5 Coles cake hack is the best thing we’ve ever seen!

Sydney home chef Suzanne shared her genius cake hack to the amazing Woolies/Coles Mudcake Hacks Facebook group, revealing that she whipped up the cracker cake for her husband’s birthday.

‘Made him an Iced Vovo Cake (as he loves the biscuits),’ she explained. ‘Used Coles sponge double slab, swiss meringue buttercream with thin layer of raspberry jam in the middle, then top layer was marshmallow buttercream with jam & desiccated coconut on top.’

It sounds as good as looks - amazing! And isn’t it a great idea for Australia Day? It’s no surprise that the cake got a huge reaction on the fabulous Facebook group, with nearly 3,000 liking Suzanne’s post.

‘This is awesome. My husband would love this,’ wrote one followers. Added another: ‘That looks amazing!’

Suzanne said she’d been overwhelmed by how much love her cake received.
