A couple have taken their love for The Simpsons to a whole new level by redecorating their kitchen to look EXACTLY like the show.
Marcia Andreychuk and Joel Hamilton have gone to painstaking lengths to recreate Marge and Homer’s kitchen in their own home, even sewing their own corn cob curtains and sourcing the same oversized purple kitchen knobs. Insane!
Better still, the couple from Calgary, Canada, haven’t spent thousands on their Simpsons kitchen makeover - choosing to repaint existing cupboards and covering existing appliances with contact to copy the fictional TV room.
They’ve even sourced custard and pale blue chequered floor and kooky lime green kitchen utensils to give the kitchen the finishing touches - but it’s the corn curtains, sewn by Marcia, that really nails Marge’s decor!

‘Who wouldn't want corn-cob curtains?’ she told CBS. ‘We wanted to keep the old, but make it new. One day we had this bizarre idea to take what we already have and turn it into The Simpson's kitchen.’
Despite the bold makeover, Marcia insists it’s a risk-free DIY project, because they’re ‘just adding colour’ with no huge expense or renovation.

There’s still no word on whether Marcia and Joel will give the rest of their home a Simpsons makeover, with candy pink walls, brown couches and purple furniture - but watch this space!
Marcia and Joel turned their kitchen into something out of The Simpsons!
