In the video, Yumna goes through her strawberry pasta recipe step by step while she makes it.
"Let's use strawberries to make baked feta pasta.
"Add salt, pepper, olive oil and white balsamic vinegar. Add a block of feta cheese right in the middle, then bake at 350 (Fahrenheit - about 176 in celsius) for 35 minutes.
"When it comes out, add some fresh basil and give everything a good mix. The strawberries release the best sauce and the whole thing is so creamy.
"I'm using red lentil pasta and giving everything a good toss. it comes out so good," she added.
Unsurprisingly, foodies had a few things to say - or rather, bones to pick - in the comments section.
"Please leave fruit out of pasta," one user simply put.
"This has gone too far," another added.
"Hey girlie, I physically cannot do this today," a third chimed in.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: "This feels illegal to watch."
Likewise, someone else stated: "It's never too late to delete this video."
And, so on.
But within the MANY - and believe us, there are many - negative comments, there was a small, ant-sized, minority on Yumna's side.
"Now that looks good," fellow chef @myhealthydish wrote.
"I loved it!" a second user confirmed. "My hubs + friends loved it too. I may even do a LIVE with them eating it again because no one believes they like it!"
Another added: "I haven't tried this, but I've eaten salads mixed with strawberries, feta and olive oil and they're really good, so i'm sure this tastes amazing."
Well, well, well, it looks like there are a few strawberry pasta fans, albeit they could all probably fit in a phone box. But it seems as though the naysayers are the ones that are too scared to give the dish a try.
So, in summation, pasta, it seems as though you really do taste good with anything. And it just makes our love for you grow even stronger. You reward us in times of triumph and comfort us in times of sorrow. We don't know what we did to deserve you. But we do know we'll be trying some strawberries with you tonight.
Yours sincerely,
Everyone with taste buds.
