250 g macaroni
50 g butter, chopped
2 tbsp plain flour
2 cups milk
420 g can tuna in brine, drained, flaked
125 g can corn kernels, drained
1 cup grated Tasty cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
sliced fresh chives, to garnish
1 crushed packet bagel chips
lemon wedges, to serve
- Cook pasta in a stockpot of boiling, salted water until tender. Drain. Return to same pot.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add flour. Cook, whisking, for 1 minute. Whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to boil. Simmer, whisking, for about 5 to 6 minutes, or until thickened.
- Add sauce to pasta with tuna, corn, cheese and chives. Stir over a low heat until hot.
- Sprinkle bagel crisps over pasta. Garnish with sliced chives. Serve with lemon wedges.
