Aldi has issued an urgent recall of a popular chocolate product, currently on sale.
The bargain supermarket has pulled Whoppers chocolates off shelves and is urging customers to check their cupboards.

The recall is use to the presence of undeclared allergens which could cause a severe reaction in some people.
Says Food Standards Australia: ‘ALDI is conducting a recall of Whoppers 141g. The product has been available for sale at selected ALDI stores in NSW and all ALDI Stores in ACT.
‘The recall is due to the presence of undeclared allergens (milk, wheat, barley, peanuts and tree nuts).
‘Any consumers who have a milk, wheat, barley, peanuts and tree nuts allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.’
The recall applies to Whoppers with all best before dates.
Says Food Standards Australia: ‘Consumers who have an allergy or intolerance as listed above should not consume this product and should return the product to an ALDI store for a full cash refund.’
