A popular Ingham’s product sold at Woolworths has been urgently recalled.
The Ingham’s Turkey Breast Roast has been recalled from Woolworths stores in NSW, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory today amid fears that the product contains milk and could be very dangerous to those with dairy allergies.
Authorities are now asking customers to check their fridge and freezers for the recalled product urgently.
Says Food Standards Australia: ‘Ingham's wishes to advise customers it is conducting a recall on the above product. The product has been available for sale at Woolworths stores in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory from 19/03/2019.
‘The recall is due to incorrect packaging (Turkey Thigh Roast was packaged incorrectly in Turkey Breast Roast packaging) which has resulted in the presence of undeclared allergen – milk.’

They add: ‘Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
‘Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.
Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full cash refund.’
