Says Food Standards Australia: ‘Chapley Group is conducting a recall of the above products that were produced on 07 April only. Any products made prior to or after this date are not at risk. The products have been available for sale at Pasadena Foodland in SA.
‘The recall is due to the presence of foreign matter (plastic). Food products containing foreign matter may cause injury if consumed.’
They add: ‘Consumers should not eat this product and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund. For further information please contact: Chapley Group, 08 8374 5000.’
The recall follows last week massive chicken recall which saw Ingham’s gluten-free schnitzel pulled off the shelves of some Woolworths stores. There have also been three huge egg recalls due to Salmonella fears in as many weeks.
