An Aussie shopper has revealed her horror at finding DEAD FLIES in her frozen chips, purchased from Coles.
Taking to the supermarket’s Facebook page, disgruntled shopper Dee shared some very unsettling photographs of the disturbing discovery - which are not the faint-hearted.
Says Dee: ‘Cheers Coles for the dead frozen flies in my chips 👌🏼
‘Surely something this disgusting has to come with some prize...’
The photographs show the pile of Coles chips, which have been freshly poured from the packet into a deep-fryer, with what appears to be dead, frozen flies on top.
Dee shared this photo of dead flies in the frozen chips.
After voicing her concern, Coles were quick to reply and say they would investigate the incident.
Says Coles: ‘We're disappointed to see this as we pride ourselves on the quality and reliability of our products, and we're sorry to hear this wasn't the case with the frozen chips on this occasion.’
Social media were quick to react to the photographs, with one user saying: ‘What the actual ****?’
