Do you Tim Tam Slam? That’s the question on all of our lips at the New Idea Food office, thanks to the release of the all-new Tim Tam Slam range.
According to now, we had NO IDEA that there was a right or wrong way to eat Australia’s favourite bikkie. Just open up the pack and cram one - or 10, depending on how bad a day we’re having - in your gob.
But it seems that some of us have been missing out on the Tim Tam Slam technique all this time, and we’re kind of obsessed.
To Tim Tam Slam, you have to take a small bite from one corner of the Tim Tam and then another small bite on the opposite corner of the same biscuit.
Then you dunk it in your cup or tea of coffee and then suck the chocolate centre out of the middle. So in short, you’re using the Tim Tam like a straw. Genius!
Well now the good people at Tim Tam have even created a new version of the iconic Aussie bikkie to help with this technique. The Tim Tam Slam comes in three different flavours, each with a gooey centre to really add to the ‘Bite, Sip, Slam’ experience.
