Whether you're looking for something a little extra on the Christmas dessert table, or just after a (somewhat) healthy snack, these nutty choc cherries are fab!

Ingredients

180 g block white cooking chocolate

500 g cherries

¼ cup pistachios, finely chopped

Method

  1. Melt chocolate in a large, heatproof bowl sitting over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove bowl from heat.
  2. Working with one cherry at a time and holding it by the stem, dip it into chocolate to come halfway up the side. Then dip one side of cherry in nuts.
  3. Place on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Refrigerate until set.
