From the first moment Bouncer took to the stage on season five of The Masked Singer Australia, fans and judges alike were screaming at him to take it off!
By this of course we mean his elaborate costume, which was masking his identity.

But thanks to his stellar singing of songs like iconic Aussie anthem, You’re The Voice by John Farnham and Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles, fans were certain they had accurately guessed just who was hiding underneath.
This paired with some contestant clues dropped throughout the season led fans directly to 35-year-old singer-songwriter Conrad Sewell, best known for his vocals on Kygo’s smash hit single Firestone, and his number one single Start Again.
When push came to shove, and Bouncer finally took off his mask, fans were relieved to see their predictions proved correct as Conrad showed his true face for the first time on The Masked Singer Australia stage.
“Hughsey’s my man! He knows me,” Conrad joked shortly after his onscreen unmasking, with guessing panel member Dave Hughes being the only one to correctly guess the third-place finisher.
When asked why he decided to participate in The Masked Singer Australia, Conrad told the judges, “For me, like, I care so much about performing, but it’s a lot of pressure. I just thought it would be a cool thing to experience not going there and not everyone knowing it was me for a second.”
Also taking to his Instagram to share in his post-finale excitement, Conrad described his experience performing as Bouncer as a “crazy journey.”
“So grateful to you all for showing the Bouncer so much love,” he penned.
