The budget supermarket revealed the recipe for the delicious guilt-free pasta dish this week, and was immediately liked and commented on by thousands of Aussies.
Writes Aldi: ‘Need more fibre in your diet? Try cauliflower! It’s packed full of dietary fibre, vitamin C and antioxidants. We used it to make gnocchi and it was a winner.
‘To make, steam chopped cauliflower until tender. Add to a food processor with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 ½ cups of gluten free flour and 1 tsp of salt. Blitz until a dough is formed. Using a teaspoon shape into mini rectangles and lightly pan fry on each side until golden. Try it with pasta sauce, spinach and parmesan for a tasty GF dinner!’
They also add that you can use normal flour if you’re not looking for a gluten-free dish. Yummmm!
ALDI found the recipe from clean living blogger Lexi's Clean Kitchen, who says it’s her ‘GO-TO easy dinner for roughly $6!’ To follow her tips on making a super yum sauce, head here.
